Abstract

This article focuses on disaster risk reduction and disaster in Almaty by allocating the necessary financial resources and appropriate Kazakh laws. Particular attention is paid to prevention and rescue operations in case of possible earthquakes in this city, which belongs to the category of seismic zones. The article provides suggestions for a real disaster risk reduction in the Kazakh city of Almaty.
