Bulletin of the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a peer-reviewed open access law scientific journal. Publication in the Bulletin in some cases is paid.

Dear authors and readers!
In a calendar year, an author can publish no more than two articles in the journal, including co-authorship.
The amount of payment for the publication of a scientific article in a journal depends on the volume of the article and is linked to the MCI value valid for a particular calendar year and is:
1) for employees of the IIP (including for part–timers) - 3 MCI. At the same time, if the article is co-authored by an ISI employee with a third-party author, then the amount of payment depends on the number of printed characters (without spaces).
2) for articles ranging from 10 to 15 thousand characters (without spaces) – 7.5 MCI;
3) for articles with a volume of 15 to 20 thousand characters (without spaces) – 10 MCI;
4) for articles with a volume of 20 to 25 thousand characters (without spaces) – 12.5 MCI;
5) for articles with a volume of 25 to 30 thousand characters (without spaces) – 15 MCI;
6) for foreign authors (including with Kazakhstani co–authors) - free of charge;
7) for authors with a Hirsch index of more than 10 – free of charge;
8) for authors with more than 5 publications in Scopus – free of charge;
9) the publication from the "Archive pages" category is not subject to payment.
In addition, there is a package of additional services from the editorial office, including the following:
For the urgency of publication - in the amount of 100% of the publication price;
Text proofreading (editorial correction) – from 5 MCI (depending on the complexity of the work);
Translation of the text of annotations - 3 MCI;
Translation of the text of the article into English – 8 MCI;
Registration of bibliographic references - 5 MCI.
Payment at the final stage, after passing all the stages of reviewing, is carried out using the Institute's banking details in any second-tier bank or through its mobile application.
