Abstract

This article deals with the preliminary stage of the Convention on Biological Diversity 1992 adoption (1988-1992). The reports of the Special Working Group on the preparation were analyzed. The profound degree of the consideration of the biodiversity conservation and its providing at the legal level were illustrated. The author highlights some features of the period preceding the adoption of the Convention on the Biological Diversity 1992.
