Abstract

Unfortunately, according to world statistics, more than a million people in the world commit suicide every year. But due to the fact that statistics are carried out only on pronounced cases, the real picture of suicide in the calculation may exceed the above indicators by two or three times more. It is also not uncommon to fail to find out the actual cause of suicide. Was there any incitement to suicide in this case.

The totality of suicides also includes cases related to the commission of a violent crime under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Incitement to suicide". In recent years, the dynamics of these socially dangerous acts has been quite stable: 51 crimes were registered in 2010, 63 in 2015, and 47 in 2021. At the same time, the number of suicides not registered and not established by law enforcement agencies, according to individual experts, exceeds by an order of magnitude the official statistics regarding criminal cases initiated under this article. In some social groups, suicide cases are almost always the result of bringing.

In national criminal legislation, criminal involvement in suicide is related exclusively to cases of incitement to suicide. At the same time, other variants of such involvement (for example, complicity in suicide, connivance to suicide, inducement to suicide, propaganda of suicide, and others) are not taken into account by the legislator.

Keywords: incitement to suicide, causes of suicide, complicity in suicide, suicide propaganda, determinants of suicide.
