IMPROVEMENT OF ANTI-CORRUPTION EDUCATION AND FORMATION OF AN ANTI-CORRUPTION CULTURE IN UNIVERSITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

This paper examines the issues of improving anti-corruption education in universities, the formation of an anti-corruption culture, the creation of a system of prevention and combating corruption based on the principles of integrity, academic honesty, transparency and openness of activities. In this regard, the documents defining the policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on combating corruption, the work of domestic and foreign scientists from the point of view of educational measures taken by the state in relation to educational programs were analyzed.
The paper touches upon the issues of digitalization of the process of teaching the basics of anti-corruption culture, which is assessed by the authors as a necessary element of the modern anti-corruption system.
In order to analyze and evaluate the anti-corruption policy of the state in the field of education, the main issues of the implementation of the Concept of Anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026 are considered, and the need for introduction into educational programs of universities, regardless of ownership forms, as a mandatory component of the course "Fundamentals of anti-corruption education and culture" is justified.
The results of the study touch upon existing problems in the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures taken, establish approaches that can be used in teaching activities in higher educational institutions.
