In the first years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the formation of a regulatory legal framework in the kazakh language was not easy. There are several reasons for this: insufficient formation of the legal language in kazakh, a lack of translators who provide translation of projects developed in russian, and their shallow knowledge in the field of law, the allocation of limited time for translation.
In any legal act, it is unacceptable to use several variants when translating certain terms and concepts, since they can be understood or used differently depending on the context, while creating difficulties in law enforcement or misleading users.
In this regard, when correcting existing language shortcomings, it is necessary to study certain literature and understand the meanings of terms in russian. In addition, the identification of such errors, their correction and prevention of their use in the future makes a great contribution to the formation of the legal language in the Kazakh language.
The article describes the lexical and stylistic errors made in the current legislation on the example of the text in the kazakh language of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the article reveals the meaning of three different concepts, which led to a discrepancy in the text in the kazakh language. Moreover, it is noted that in some articles of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, uniformity is not observed in the text of the code when translating the word "information", and the difference between the words "malimet" and "maglumat" is indicated. In this regard, the lexical and stylistic correction of the editions of the above articles contributes to their correct understanding and application and eliminates shortcomings in the text of the code in the Kazakh language.
