Abstract

The relevance of the topic under study is due to the increasing role of social networks in modern social and legal relations, and in particular, its influence on the administration of justice. The influence of the new media culture on the revision of communication and the practice of disseminating information about a person's personality raises unusual and interesting questions concerning the activities of the courts. In the global era, the use of social media has become the daily activity of most people. Social networks have become a powerful tool for information and educational work and can contribute to increasing public confidence in the judiciary. However, the use of social media generates ethical issues with new challenges. The main purpose of the research is to analyze some of the main international legal aspects of the problems of judicial ethics in social networks. The scientific and practical significance of the work consists in the legal analysis of this important aspect of the behavior of judges, and in particular, the study of the content of national and international legal documents and case law. Methodological foundations: general scientific methods (logical, structural and system analysis, synthesis), as well as special methods and techniques for studying phenomena and processes (formal-logical, structural-functional, method of comparative jurisprudence).
