ISSUES OF INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR THE USE OF CORRECTIONAL LABOR IN THE CRIMINAL LEGISLATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

In the proposed article, the authors conducted a study of aspects of the establishment of correctional work in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its application in practice. The purpose of the study is to provide a mechanism for improving the theoretical, legal and practical content of correctional work by conducting research.

In the course of the research, comparative legal, historical –dialectical, and logical methods of law were widely used.

As a result of the study, the authors made scientific conclusions and recommendations regarding the chosen research object.

Today, Russian scientists have different positions and views on the use and effectiveness of correctional labor. The authors make recommendations that increase the practical effectiveness of correctional work. Thus, it proposes amendments and additions to the current criminal law. As a result, it is proved that the potential for the use of correctional labor as a form of punishment increases.
