The phenomenon of self-inflicted death has aroused the interest of scientists since ancient times, but for a long time it has been the subject of medical, psychological, and philosophical studies, but not of the law Sciences. Only a narrow circle of so-called criminal suicides, provoked by external influence (mainly in the form of physical and mental violence), aroused the interest of criminologists and criminologists. In the conditions of the modern information society, in which the consciousness and behavior of a person is purposefully influenced by a variety of subjects, it is necessary to review approaches to understanding criminal suicide. In modern conditions, a person's desire to "leave life" is often formed under the influence of destructive information influence.The problem of child and adolescent suicides is particularly acute.
In practice, the state has adopted a number of programs to prevent suicide among minors, which are mainly assigned to the health and education authorities. To address these problematic issues in the field of child safety, Kazakhstan has adopted a number of normative legal acts on the prevention of suicide of minors. this year, the Roadmap for strengthening the protection of children's rights, countering domestic violence and addressing suicide among adolescents for 2020-2023 was approved.
At the same time, it is impossible to prevent suicide of minors without an effective mechanism of interaction between state bodies and public organizations and the use of international experience.
The article considers the factors that influence the problems of preventing suicide of minors, reveals the causes of suicide at the present time. Legal aspects of prevention of suicide of minors are considered.
