The article analyzes concepts and content of constitutional security at the present stage.
Constitutional security is a stable political and legal state of society that guarantees the legitimacy and capacity of the authorities for an indefinitely long period of time, the sovereignty of the country and the legal protection of the individual.
Practice shows that it is very problematic to ensure the protection of the constitutional system and the effective implementation of the principles of the constitutional state in a low legal and political culture, the opposition of the interests of various social groups, without effective mechanisms that ensure the timely detection of threats to constitutional development.
The article analyzes the composition of constitutional security on the basis of legal acts and monographic literature. Particular attention is paid to the content of internal and external threats that could violate the constitutional security regime.
As components of constitutional security, the author refers to the effectiveness of the legislative process, the conduct of a fair social policy, the creation of conditions and guarantees for political competition.
